    Can I batch cook with this unit?
    If batch cooking meats, for best results, we recommend in between batches to close the lid and run the programmed function for 2-3 minutes before adding more food. If you are using Woodfire Flavour Technology and would like to run back-to-back smoking sessions, we recommend re-filling the smoke box using the pellet scoop, when half the pellets have burned. DO NOT re-fill more than 1 or 2 times. DO NOT re-ignite pellets.
    Can I cook from frozen?
    Yes you can! So even at short notice you don't need to worry about defrosting ingredients. Refer to page 48 of the Quick Start Guide for cook times for common ingredients such as chicken breasts, burgers and salmon.
    Can I cook more than 1 ingredient at once?
    Yes, we suggest cooking using the Grill function and cook with the lid down so that air circulates around the food. You can easily cook a family meal for up to 4 people at the same time. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for inspiration including how to cook burgers and corn on the cob at the same time.
    How big of a turkey can I fit in my unit?
    No bigger than 4.5kg, but due to the height of the grill we recommend spatchcocking to fit an 3.6-4.5kg turkey. Spatchcocking is when you cut out the backbone of the turkey and are able to lie it flat. It helps to cook the turkey faster and lower the height of it
    How much food can I cook at any one time?
    The grill plate can fit up to 12 burgers or 20 sausages. Or mix and match and cook 6 burgers and 6 corn on the cobs. When cooking larger cuts of meat you can comfortably fit 2 x 2.3kg pork shoulders or 2 x 2.5kg whole chickens side by side.
